Connecting PortalVB ?

When I try to install PortalVB (IBuySpy) it says "Database Server Instance" and a dropdown box saying "localhost".
That should be correct right?
I click 'Configure' and it doesn't work?

Anyone help?

Ps. I have MSDE installed.just a guess... Might be a login issue...
