Connecting Enterprise Manager 8.0 to SQL Server 2005

Hi,

I had earlier posted a similar question on the forum. Did not find any responses back. So I am posting this again as it is becoming important for me now.

I had a machine which was running SQL Server with Enterprise Manager 8.0. Now I have put in a new machine in the network, which runs SQL Server 2005. When I try to register the old server using DSN connectivity, I can not see the old server. How can I set it up to talk to the old server?

Try and make Server Alias, using TCP/IP and then try to connect, It should work.
